Small towel on a rigid heddle loom with Yde Bouchard
Language: French
Difficulty: Beginner
Category: Weaving
This course is designed to teach you the basics of weaving as well as how to set up a rigid heddle loom.

The different parts of the loom and weaving vocabulary – epi/sett (thread density), ppi (picks per inch), yarn weights, types of looms, and weaving tools.
How to calculate and create a warp.
Warping and installing the warp on a rigid heddle loom.
Knowledge of fibers and the differences between yarns suitable for warp and weft. Tips, advice, and solutions to common problems for your future projects.
