In this workshop, you will make a beginner-friendly micro-macrame bracelet and leave with your finished piece.

You will learn 3 different knots, become familiar with consistent knotting technique, and leave with several tips to help you along the way.

Prerequisites

This workshop requires no prior knowledge. However, be aware that we will be working with very small materials (don’t forget your glasses). Since we will be using a lighter for finishing, this workshop is for ages 14 and up.

Emilie Gaudreault

After studying photography in college and visual and media arts at university, I went on a trip where I learned the technique of micro-macramé. Taught by people from Mexico, Guatemala, and Spain, this art quickly became my profession. I would even say it happened almost unintentionally, as I simply couldn’t stop creating—my passion drove me to further develop the technique on my own, as a self-taught artist. Today, nine years later, I’ve begun teaching knots and sharing my knowledge with other enthusiasts in turn.
