In this course, we'll talk about everything you ever wanted to know about stranded knitting: how to choose your yarn, how to hold it, maintain good tension, catch the floats, fix mistakes, etc! We will learn by knitting wrist warmers.

At the end of this workshop, you will leave with a wrist warmer and all the notions to make the second one at home.

  • 50gr each of 2 colors of worsted weight yarn (category 4)
  • US 6/4mm needles for small circumference knitting (choose the method that you are most comfortable with: DPNs, 100cm circular needles for magic loop or mini-circulars of 25cm max)

Claudia is the creator behind CloTricots, a Montreal based french knitting tutorial website . With a background in musical theater and professional swing dance instruction, she shines in her ability to share her knowledge in a clear, simple and fun way. "Learning to knit, one stitch at a time" is easy with the right materials, a little patience and someone to guide you. Always on the hunt for the "why" and the "how", she helps you to overcome any challenge, big or small.
