Myriam Rochon
Initially trained in music and visual arts, and filled by a desire to leave a weak, or even positive footprint on the world around her, Myriam Rochon turned to horticulture, agriculture and environmental sciences in order to perfect her knowledge of plants, as they constitute the basis of her preferred materials.
With the habi habi project, started in 2015, she specialized in ecological cultivation and foraging of dye plants for textile and shared her experiences with an interested and growing community for several years, before recently diving back in her creative research practice, which includes spinning, weaving, natural dyeing and lake pigments works.
