Makeloo Studio – Quebec Wool. Makeloo Studio is an artisanal spinning mill in Lavaltrie, managed by Marcelo Martins, winner of the 2025 Desjardins Grand Prize for Culture and the 2025 Quebec Circular People's Choice Award. The first Quebec artisan certified "100% Canadian Wool," the studio transforms fibers from 16 local farms into exceptional yarns and eco-responsible products with complete traceability. Combining ancestral know-how and the circular economy, each creation celebrates the living heritage and resilience of Quebec.
