In this workshop, you will learn the basics of the 14-bobbin technique, deepen your skills by adding twists, corners, and new stitches, and finally receive personalized instruction where the student and teacher will jointly define a program tailored to the student's creations and goals.

Participants will be contacted in advance by the instructor to assess their respective levels and plan appropriate exercises. More experienced participants will work on their own equipment, while beginners will use equipment provided by the instructor.

Beginners will use equipment provided by the instructor OR have the possibility to buy their own kit, while participants who already have their own equipment may work with it.

Véronique Louppe

Véronique Louppe is a lace artist. She constructs elaborate textiles based on the ancient principle of crossing threads called bobbin lace. She develops new textures and creates three-dimensional lace. She offers her lacemaking expertise as a teacher and produces lace for special orders. Her work has been supported by the CALQ on several occasions.
