In this workshop, you will learn how to 3D weave your own messenger bag using upcycled fabric strips. You will design your own bag, choose your color palette and create your own yarn. You will then learn how to professionnally finish your handwoven work. Come discover weaving through a new and fun perspective!

Éveline Cantin-Bergeron

Éveline Cantin-Bergeron specializes in traditional weaving and natural dyeing, fostering respect for a heritage that is both rich and fragile. She prioritizes natural and responsible fibers, particularly cellulosic fibers (linen, cotton, ramie, paper, etc.), whose drape and “memory” she finds especially interesting.

Since obtaining her diploma in Textile Construction from the Maison des Métiers d’arts de Québec in 2019, Éveline has been interested in the slow made and slow fashion movements through her project, Bergé Atelier. She creates unique and high-quality micro-collections of clothing that reflect the intimate relationship we maintain with the textiles that surround us. Through the responsible production methods of her enveloping objects, she seeks to highlight respect for craftsmanship and the value of textiles.
