Wish you could capture how gorgeous your knit and crochet items are, but every time you take a photo it falls short? Come to this beginner-friendly class on taking better photos of your projects with your smartphone! We’ll cover details that are important to record, how to shoot those difficult colours or yarn, using the photos for Ravelry, Instagram/social media, or even potentially for patterns! Don’t worry if you think you aren’t photogenic; you don’t have to model your knits, and I can show you tricks and tips to get more comfortable with being both in front of and behind the camera.

What to bring

  • A smartphone with a working camera or a DSLR camera
  • 2-3 items you would like to photograph : they don't have to be finished!
