Introduction to the benefits of sorting, grading and classing alpaca fibre. In order to improve the quality of alpaca finished products from the annual shearing and to improve the profitability of the cottage industry and/or agro/touristic small business. This workshop aims alpaca owners, and other fibre animal breeders. The observation of different characteristics of the fibre allow you to understand each fleece potential to obtain a better en product. Each batch of raw fleece with similar characteristics will yield an improved handle and softness. The raw fleece batch sent at the mill, that have similar characteristics, tend to have less loss and better sturdiness in the yarn. This is an introduction workshop with tools and practice to improve the quality of your animal yarn and finished products.
