The magic appears when you add the slip stitch. In this class you will learn how to read a mosaic pattern and you will leave the class with the confidence to tackle any mosaic pattern or even create your own.

Christopher Walker

Christopher WalkerCabin Boy Knits

Christopher Walker is a fibre artist, natural yarn dyer, knitwear designer, and founder of the Cabinboyknits label. Christopher splits his time between Toronto and his log cabin in Stirling, Ontario. His unconventional work is influenced by the environment around him, whether it be from the rugged Canadian landscape, or the vivid colours and graphic designs in Toronto’s tattoo parlours. He works with Canadian wool, and often profiles heritage sheep breeds. His work often profiles the dichotomy between masculinity and the soft intricate work of knitwear, and has been featured on the runway and at art gallery showings. For his naturally dyed yarn, he often forages in local forests to collect and create unique and distinctly Canadian yarn dyes. You can purchase his yarn online and can catch up with him on his YouTube channel Cabinboyknits.
