Please note that your 3 day pass is included with this workshop (1 per person).

In this workshop, participants will learn basic macramé knots, first by making a sample that you can use as a keychain. They will then make a plant suspender completely different from the ones right out of the ’70s: no fringe at the bottom, and that can be opened up from the top to easily slip a plant in.

Ariane Gilbert

Ariane GilbertVert Ariane

Dabbling into everything from a very young age, Ariane discovered macramé after studying art. Her passion for drawing, fibres and colours led her to study textile design and printing. She then worked for nine years in the textile design department of Cirque du Soleil. Because she wanted to work from home and sell her creations, she founded Vert Ariane. She creates small macramé items that she then dyes. She eventually wants to incorporate silkscreen printing into her creations and give workshops and training at her workshop.
