Do you want to take your felting technique to the next level? During this two-day workshop, participants will be completing two or three fantastic felted hats! On the first day, they will be creating a simple slouch hat by exploring Nuno felted patchwork techniques, felting over a resist and learning to block and finish our hat. Using beautiful hand-dyed merino wool and a variety of silk fabrics, this will be a magnificent exploration into wearable art and felting in 3D. On the second day, participants will learn to create their very own templates and design a completely unique felted hat! With a variety of shapes and sizes to choose from, and fibres and fabrics to embellish your hat with, this will be a workshop you won’t want to miss!
